Epilepsy in animals.

The hostible (alex video) is a wonderful place, and they take great care of my daughter. I think however, that not everyone is in accord. They take great care and time to be sure to pass on information that they've learned from shift to shift, but I'm sure that things get lost. This seems to lead to a moderate panic in some of the nurses. Maybe panic is not the right word, paranoia maybe. I spoke with the NNP last night and she wasn't concerned at ALL about necrotizing entercolitis. She was concerned about the lack of gall bladder, she even found a paper online that talked about a case of a child with cardiovascular problems that was born without a gall bladder. However, she cautioned about freaking out about it until we know more.

She is off her milranone. Wahoo.

She has been started on phenobarbital to bring down her conjugated bilirubin which was at 7.4 last night, very high.

Phenobarbital, its not just for epileptic cats anymore!

Gall bladders are highly over-rated....Ask your mother about that.
