Two steps forward.

Elizabeth is doing very well today. She did not have the biopsy done because the doctor wanted to take it slower and see if getting the feedings up improve her liver function. She's up to 21 cc's every 4 hours, if she keeps that up tonight they should move her to 25 cc's in the morning. A whopping 5 teaspoons, we're elated. The biopsy may still happen in the next day or two and there is a possibility that it will be percutaneous. Don't ask me, I was told that she needed a gall bladder to do a percutaneous cholangiogram and liver biopsy. But things change, and its hard to communicate everything I suppose. [sigh]

Remember the nasal cannula? Well, its back. It seems that because Ellie's heart function is improving, she has a greater need for O2. So Teri got the last of the really cute pictures today before they put it on her. Unfortunately, we have no pictures today. I forgot and left the camera at the hospital. [big sigh]

New videos are available and I've uploaded more, but it is taking several days for them to show up. I've also added a permanent link on the left hand side so they're easier to find.
