Quiet Day

Ellie was pretty tired today. They upped her PO feedings to 4 a day if she shows interest. She is now getting 9 1/2 cc's every hour on her continuous feeds. She needs to get up to 8 full feedings a day before they can completely take her off the TPN.

Ellie got another echocardiogram today. These people are beginning to sound like a broken record, "No change." Basically, they're waiting for her to get completely off the TPN, wait for her liver function to improve even more, and then try a different heart medication. So we're playing sit and wait.

I just called Kitty (one of Ellie's primary night nurses) and Ellie is up to 3 kilos! (6 lbs 10 oz for we weird Americans who still use the English system.) Woo HOO! My girl is getting big!
