Finally a Tuesday with good news

Wahooooo! Ellie's direct billi count is down from 8.4 to 6.7! She is also tolerating her 25 cc's of feedings very well. Dr. Jackson from GI saw her today (Dr. Molly is in a different area this week). He said that she is doing so well, and her liver, spleen, etc. feel good to him and her liver enzymes are down, that he doesn't think she needs to have the liver biopsy and cholangiogram. He thinks that the liver just needed the food to kick start it into working. Either way, they don't have to put my baby under and cut her open any time soon. Dr. Jackson wants to focus on getting her to GROW. (btw she is 6 pounds now!)
Ellie is exactly 5 weeks old today and it's her due date. Happy Birthday!
