Playtime

Look at me! I can smile!

We had a very fun day today. I got to play on the floor with Ellie. Debbie the physical therapist came in and showed me what to do. There's a mat we put on the floor, then a clean blanket, and then a boppy pillow. Ellie can sit in the boppy pillow and track objects. She can also grab at toys that are rubbed on the back of her hand. We also practiced standing up so she could feel her legs. It was like playing with a regular healthy baby! Stay tuned on the videos, I took one of her tracking (watching while turning her head to look at an object) a toy apple with a bell inside it. It's her new favorite toy.

Ellie is doing well on the nj feedings. She only threw up a little today, and took a couple of bottle feedings. She weighs 7 lbs 10 oz. This girl needs to quit retaining water. She needs healthy weight gain to get out of there.

Oooh piggies!

I like getting out of bed and playing!

An easy toy to grab.

Ellie loves this apple. I'll have to get on e-bay to see if I can find one...it's
Fisher Price circa 1972.

I'm watching the pretty red apple.
