People Change

An interesting thing has happened since Ellie came back from her diagnostic catheterization (angiogram in adults) . She's overcome several milestones, or rather the doctors have overcome their worries. She's off milranone, the IV heart medication. She's now on carvedilol (coreg), that she takes by mouth. They've up'd the calories in her formula so she's now on the lowest amount of TPN (hyperalementation) of her little life.

Volume of formula still remains the largest problem, she's maintaining about 30 cc's every 3 hours. She need to be between 50-60 to come off the TPN completely.

She's 3180 grams right now (figure that one out Ethan!)

Oh, and did I say? They think they've found her gall bladder. It's VERY tiny, but it looks like its there.

A gall bladder, huh? Well, she won't get out of doing chores now!
