Bald is Beautiful
Ellie got a hairwashing this morning. When Phyllis brushed it with the soft brush afterward, a lot of Ellie's hair came off. I think she looks like a little old man with a tuft on the back of her head. You can see the new hairs coming in, but not very well in the pictures.
(insert balding grandfather jokes here)
Ellie lost some weight today, 40 grams. So she's 7 lbs 1 oz. She's 20 1/2 inches long, but at least she has round cheekies!
I know something you don't know!
Her billiruben count was up to 5.3 from 3.7 and her thyroid is low. Gastro Intestinal doctors are going to check up on her tomorrow. She's still eating 34 cc's every 3 hours, but some of it they have to give through her ng tube because she is throwing up sometimes.
Her artline came out today, so they had to poke her with a needle to run the blood tests. I left the room, but she didn't cry. They were worried she was septic again because of her liver, but her tests show no infection. I guess we'll see tomorow.

She has a double chin! How can ANYTHING be wrong with a baby who has a double chin?????
She's just foolin' ya....she just doesn't want to do chores....
That last message was from Gramma Susan. Tell Ellie she doesn't have to do chores EVER and see how she perks up!
