Monday Monday...can't trust that day.

Well, I thought today was going to be non-eventful. Wrong. They were just finishing up a full scale get-every-detail-you-can echocardiogram on my Ellie when I arrived at the hospital today. I talked to 3 cardiologists later and they told me that Ellie is going to be discussed in the Cardiology pow-wow on Wednesday. They want to take a good close look at her heart function and see where they need to go from here. Possibilities ranging from trying new medication to open heart surgery. I'm hoping for the former...but we'll see.

Ellie was also not supposed to get her labs drawn until tomorrow. They decided to do it today because her blood pressure was up just a little bit and they wanted to check her cortisone levels. Good news on the billi front: she's down to 3.7 from 4.1.

She gained weight last night and then lost it tonight. I think it was water retention rather than real weight gain. She's eating 27 cc's every 3 hours and lets you know when she's ready for it! You've also got to burp her good, or her stomach shifts into reverse.

I got to give her a bath tonight. No pics because who was going to hold the camera? My hands were full and Donna (Ellie's pm primary nurse) was supervising. We got cute pictures anyway.


Oh tay! I'd like a double cheesburger and fries and a shake...
