Just hangin' and waitin'
These blood pressure cuffs are a drag. No, I just hate them.

Ellie gained weight today. She is now 6 lbs 13 oz. She also got another blood transfusion last night because her hematicrit was low. She looked nice and pink today because of it.
They have upped her to 30 cc's every 3 hours on her feeds. The nurse practitioner told me today that they want to slowly add to her feedings each day until she is on full feeds (46 cc's). This should take about a week or so. Then they want to slowly add breastmilk to her formula a little at a time.
Her picc line keeps coming loose because she sweats so much the tape loses its sticky. They have to be so careful with it because it is her lifeline. It's how she gets her medications and TPN and lipids so she doesn't have to have an IV stuck in her all the time. They've had to re-dress the picc line twice in the last 4 days. I hope she doesn't have to have it much longer, but who knows?
Tomorrow is the Cardiology/Surgeon meeting. I'm going down early so I can hear what they decide their next move is with Ellie's heart. I'm sure they're not going to rush into anything, I just hope for good news and ideas. I'm glad Phyllis is back from vacation tomorrow. She'll be able to stand up for what's best for Ellie.
Did you ever have to make up your mind?

Ah, to sleep. To dream. To not be bugged for 5 minutes...

Nope. They haven't lifted the RSV lockdown yet. Siblings can see the babies once they have lifted the lockdown, but not before. The boys may be coming over sooner than you think....
